Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University

Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University was established in 1992 as a state university. Since the day it was founded, the University has been in pursuit of higher education and research of high quality to contribute to socio-cultural, scientific, and technological development of our country. Convinced with the idea that developing a systematic and comprehensive education program requires a competent infrastructure, Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University embarked on a fast advancement and investment project in 1994. Its determination to test the limits has also been supported by the guardian of the University, Sıtkı Koçman, whose financial contributions to education deserve a great admiration.

Muğla Sıtkı Koçman  University is a rapidly developing university with over 30,000 students, over 1000 academic staff, about 800 personnel, 13 faculties, 4 graduate schools, 6 schools, 13 vocational schools, 18 research and application centers established on a 208,000 square meters indoors area.

Atatürk Cultural Center

Atatürk Cultural Center is one of prestigious venues located in Mugla Sıtkı Kocman University’s main campus. The center consists of two active lounges with a capacity of 1050 people and 185 people, as well as 50-seater 4 seminar rooms. Our facility is equipped with the highest level of modern technology, sound, lighting and video systems and is used for congresses, symposia, panel discussions, conferences, concerts, theater, cinema, exhibitions and other activities.

Atatürk Cultural Center halls are allocated to the activities of university departments, other public institutions as well as private organizations.
